Taylor, Charles ("Charley")

Not a musician, but a fine mechanic, he was the stepbrother of William, with whom he emigrated to America in 1872; Their first stand was in New York City, where they lived with a friend; After a year or so, they moved to Philadelphia, where they opened a shop, in which they manufactured Union and Highland pipes, as they already did, according to one of O’Neill’s "credible informants", in Drogheda; At the 1875 Centennial Exhibition held in Philadelphia they were awarded some medals; NB: ➺ [?] Taylor.
