According to O’Neill, "from Limerick"; A member of the "Dublin Pipers’ Club" (founded 1900), she was awarded 2nd prize in the learners’ class of Union pipers at the 1912 "Oireachtas" [Assembly], an Irish dance competition, with its 17 Union pipers (the largest number of the fraternity ever assembled at such a gathering).
