Reggio Calabria); He made Zampogna a paro and a la moderna [sic* (➺ NB)], as well as Pipite (shawms), Frischiotti (double flutes), Tamburelli [tambourines] and, assembling parts purchased from a factory, even Organetti [Concertinas]; He also made wooden spoons and other objects of pastoral use; The Zampogna played, however, a central role in his work, both because of the extent of the demand from his clients, and the consideration he himself paid to this instrument; When talking of his own activities, he always used the plural pronoun noi [we]; He played 2 types of Zampogna, Frischiotto, Organetto, and Tamburello, also sang, and danced, as well; *NB: ➺ Zampogna alla moderna, and my remark to ?
