Cosenza); Like Pasquale Magliarella, he manufactured the instruments entirely by hand, using a knife only; According to Tucci, he was also a singer, who accompanied himself on the Zampogna [sic (➺ NB)] and on the Chitarra battente; No additional details found; NB: Unfortunately, Tucci fails to reveal the type, but it was probably the Surdulina of the type shown on the 2 photos.
