? [official name unknown]
?-?piper (&c.) mentioned by name
Born [and lived?] in Arsoli [NE of Tivoli, prov. Roma], which doesn’t seem to have ever been a "centro zampognaro" [piping centre]; He is remembered, however, to have borrowed and played, around the mid-1930s, the instrument of Antonio Folgori "Sparicchia", and it seems that, when one of its pipes was broken, he replaced it with a hand-made one of elder (Sambucus nigra) that he had made himself.
Instrument: Zampogna zoppa
