[Born and?] lived in Villaputzu (Sarrabus area, prov. Cagliari); Son of Giovanni ("Giuanniccu"); Died, according to internet source, in Villasor (in Sardu: Biddesorris or Bidda de Sorris, prov. Sud Sardegna); Even though mentioned separately in the index of »Launeddas« (a cura di Giampaolo Lallai), he seems to be the same person as the one called Giuseppe Cabras, who shared the 3rd prize with Giuseppe (Giuseppino) Cocco at the 1938 "Primavera sarda", organised at Cagliari by the "Dopolavoro Provinciale", a regional section of the "Opera Nazionale Dopolavoro" (at that time the Italian Fascist leisure and recreational organisation for adults).
