Born in [Cabras (prov. Oristano)] ?; Described by Weis Bentzon as "a grocer of about 45 years who used to play at the big village festivals in former times, but who had not played for 15 years, as deaths had occurred at regular intervals in his family and playing is interdicted during the mourning periods. He only made a few deficient recordings and his value as an informant consisted mainly in assessing the reliability of the material of the younger launeddas players".
