Lived on Lilla Rågö [Väike-Pakri], an island off the coast of Paldiski [W of Tallinn]; According to his son Andreas, he built (ca.1937) a sealskin bagpipe with a chanter from an older instrument; The drone-pipe was made by a neighbour; The whereabouts of this instrument is unknown.
