"Farrapo de gaita"

Literally: "a rag of a bagpipe"; A scornful (contemptuous) remark, expressing disbelief, it also means "useless, without value, worthless"; Example: "Isto non é un debuxo nin farrapos de gaita", which translates, literally, as "This is neither a drawing, nor the fringe of a bagpipe", but is used to express disdain, meaning "trash" (to be thrown away) or "garbage" (utter nonsense); The definition given in Castro Macía is "no valer un comino" [Literally: "not worth a cumin seed", metaphorically: "not to be worth a rush" (i.e. "without any value")].
