Nāgabaddha (gender unknown)

Described by Sachs (who unfortunately doesn’t reveal his source) as a bagpipe with double-chanter, the southern type of which "has a drone only" and the northern type "occasionally also a chanter", after which he adds its name in Hindi (Mošuk); Podnos refers to Francis W. Galpin, »A textbook of European musical instruments« (New York, 1937); NB: ➺ Pakistan.
