According to Engel, "the Magrepha, generally described as an organ, was more likely only [sic!] a kind of bagpipe"; NB¹: According to Podnos it was possibly a bagpipe of ca. 500 BC; NB²: Kuhač mentions the name as one of the Hebrew terms for organ; NB³: The internet offers numerous articles, with a variety of views [in my perception mainly conjectures] on the magrepha(h) as a type of instrument...
