One of the 17 pipes; NB: The fact that it produces the lowest tone of the Shō, combined with the numeral meaning of its name (1 [one, the kanji of which is "一"]), seems to imply that it is considered to be the first of all pipes, which appears to coincide with its position (first left from the Kashira) in the Fukube.
