"flea-hole" for the upper index finger, used for producing semitones and ornamentation; Misinterpreted by Prašanov as the name for the narrow tube (➺ Zivane) inserted;
NB: ➺ Mrmorec (Macedonia and Greece), Mramorka (Serbia).

Inserted is a narrow cylindrical tube (Ø ca. 1-2 mm, length: 5-10 mm), traditionally made of cane (nowadays [i.e. late 20th century; ws] often of metal or plastic).
