Pipe band

A group of pipers, usually accompanied by several percussionists; Bands of the Scottish type are quite popular; In several other countries, especially in the members of the British Commonwealth (The bagpipes used in such bands may be locally produced, e.g. in India and Pakistan); Similar bands are also popular nowadays in Brittany (France), where Scottish Highland Pipes (called Binioù bras) are used in the so-called Bagadoù, and in Galicia (Spain), where either original Galician Gaitas or modified bagpipes (with the same build and pitch as the Scottish ones) are used in local Bandas.
