Musette (f)
(with) definite article: laBagpipe, bellows-blown: 2 stocks (a: single chanter + drone / b: 1 additional drone)
19th century small bellows-blown bagpipe of Bresse (a former province, now covering parts of dépts. Saône-et-Loire and Ain); From the poorly translated English text in the only source encountered (➺ my remarks to Haversack), I reckon I can safely deduce that of the several specimens found, only 1 (signed "Lutaud 1852") is in perfect condition and preserved in the Musée des Ursulines (Mâcon); NB: ➺ All Museta, &c.
Chanter in B♭ with double reed.
