In 1952 Pèire Nauton (Pierre Nauton, 1912-1970) recorded the term pèl de boc [skin of a he-goat] in Laurac (Basse-Ardèche), which according to the Rousselot-Gilliéron phonetic system (1887) is pronounced as "Pèl de bu" (➺ Atlas linguistique et ethnographique du Massif central, vol.III (1961), map [№] 1648).
