Misinterpretation in Marcuse and Podnos, both of whom define it as a "bagpipe of modern Greece", referring to Mahillon as their source (in which the term doesn’t seem to be mentioned at all, however); Oddly, Podnos suggests the name to be a combination of Karabe and Musa; It actually is the name of a whistle and a shawm, instead;
