Triple-chanter with a melody-pipe in juxtaposition with a semidrone and, rear centre, a 2nd semidrone (with thumbhole), which makes this instrument a unique member of the bagpipe family; In shape it is similar to the Gajdzica (types a and b) of the Dudy podhalańskie (Poland).
With the thumbhole closed, the 2nd semidrone produces a hexachord to the tonic of the chanter; When half open: a 7th; Open: an octave.
