According to Scaldaferri, the term used in Val d’Agri [SE of Potenza], but it is probably used in the dialect spoken in the Pollino massif, instead [My doubts are based on the fact that the letter ë occurs in 5 other terms listed under Pollino (➺ Ramìellë, Shcandillë, Ùtërë, Zëllonë, Zëpponë), but in none of the other terms listed under Val d’Agri; ws].
