Maple (Acer), cherry (Prunus avium), boxwood (Buxus sempervirens), olive (Olea europæa), wild pear (Pyrus pyraster), sorb/rowan/service tree (Sorbus domestica), cypress (Cupressus sempervirens), and orange (Citrus X sinensis); The fuso of a pipe is of olive, its bell of cherry, but each maker chooses his own combination(s); Giuseppe Belviso used boxwood for the fuso of his finer instruments, and olive for those of the more common ones.
