Seam
Airtight closure of a tanned leather bag; The seam can be either sewn (by saddle stitching a strip of leather round the entire edge of the bag), glued, or both glued ánd sewn (using saddle stitching here too).
A strip of material can be added inside to render added strength; When glued only, a margin on one side is folded around the edge of the other.
