(with) definite article: derSobriquet (also Soubriquet): A “nickname” that can be used endearingly or otherwise. In references to bagpipes it is used disdainfully only, however.
Condemning term, used by folk pastor Bertold von Regensburg (1220-1272), who held rather sulphurous sermons.
