From "kvačiti" (kvàčiti [to clasp / hook]) ?; Spatula, dangling from the Šija at the back of the chanter; Used for handling beeswax when tuning; It has the shape of a nail of an eagle’s fang; Podravska [Drava] region (Bilogora mountain region; Bjelovar-Križevci area (Ivanovčani [instrument from Ždralovi]; Kapela; Veliki Raven; Ždralovi)).
Traditionally made of horn, nowadays [i.e. late 20th century (after 1960); ws] of any material suited for the purpose.
