Petnik (m)
plural: Petniki [?]device, keeping the cheeks of the bellows together, but allowing them to pivot
From "pet" [five (5)] ?; Hinge(s) of the bellows; Veliko Vukovje; NB: Unfortunately, the term doesn’t occur in any of the many dictionaries consulted; Its form in Širola ("petnikima" [instrumental case]) causes a grammatical problem, however: In standard Croatian the plural of "petnik" would be "petnici" (instrumental case: "petnicima").
