Spatula, dangling from the eye at the back of the Rokče; Used for handling beeswax when tuning.
Originally an eagle’s nail was used (hence the term), nowadays [i.e. late 20th century (after 1960); ws] made of any material suited for the purpose, from horn to plastic.
