Zampogna (f)

Żaqq

By several authors ludicrously defined as "The Maltese zampogna, also called Zapp"; It is the Żaqq that is erroneously called "Maltese Zampogna" in some sources (even in Baines’ »Bagpipes«, though not in his »Woodwind instruments and their history« !); Ingnorantly, Podnos makes it even worse, by claiming that Zapp (its actual name!) is just an abbreviation .
