Kozioł zbąszyńsko-lubuski (m)

he-goat; ➺ remark(s) below

Surroundings of Zbąszyń (county Nowy Tomyśl) and Lubusz Land (formerly county Zielona Góra, since 1999 a Vojvodeship [province] itself; capitals: Zielona Góra and Gorzów Wielkopolski); Though Sobieski offers 3 pages of interesting information on the playing tradition, much of his account of the field research he and his wife undertook in the 1930s and 1950s is too remote from the scope of this study on terminology to fit in any of the entries; Since he does not add any details whatsoever regarding the construction of the instrument, I reckon that its name can be safely considered a synonym of Kozioł zbąszyński; NB: ➺ the various types of Kozioł.
