Gaitiña (f)
(with) definite article: aEndearing name, from the poem "A gaita gallega (Answer to the eminent poet D. Ventura Ruiz de Aguilera)" by the great Galician poet Rosalia de Castro; It occurs also in the work of numerous anonymous so-called folk poets, and in the title of the poem »Gaita Gaitiña« [Bagpipe, my little bagpipe] (1991) by Manuel Serantes; Note the odd, incorrect spelling (Gaitin̂a [with a French accent-circonflexe, instead of a Spanish tilde]) in the Dutch translation.
