According to Saygun (➺ Picken) from Georgian "kar" [horn] [?; In Georgian (Kartveli) "horn" is რქა (rk’a) !; Georgian ქარი k’ari [wind]) doesn’t seem correct as a root; In dictionaries NO appropriate entries encountered!].
Made of cow-horn.
