Koshnai

Košnaj

English transliteration; Also Uzbek; NB¹: In order to prevent confusion about the locations mentioned in the sources, the following explanation seems to be in order: In 1880, Central Asia was conquered by Russia; The area, which included the northern part of Tajikistan, was proclaimed Turkestan, which in 1918 (after the Russian "October Revolution") was considered to be part of the Russian Federation, as the Turkestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic (Туркестанская Автономная Советская Социалистическая Республика [ТАССР]); NB²: According to Wikipedia Koshnai is a "variation of the word Ghoshmeh".
