Sapognia (f)

Symfonia

Obsolete [or erroneous?] spelling (synonym of Symfonia) in one of the manuscripts of the 31st sonnet of the cycle "Il Saporetto" by Simone de Prodenzani (ca. 1351-1438); Reference in Wikipedia to the Zampogna is rather dubious, though on the basis of its spelling understandable!; NB: ➺ Ceccola, Ciechola.
