Mouth organ with a gourd as wind chest
Described by Trân as a mouth organ that consists of a single pipe (with a free vibrating reed and 3 or 4 fingerholes), "pierced" through a gourd, the tip of which serves as the mouthpiece. Unfortunately, he fails to specify a location, but it is probably played by the Êđê (or Ê Đê) people (prov. Đắk Lắk in the Tây Nguyên [Western [also called Central] Highlands], NE of Hồ Chí Minh City); NB: ➺ Đing tác ta.
Inside the gourd it has a bamboo reed.
