Probably related to "summen" [to buzz], and, accordingly, possibly the term for the drone(s); NB¹: According to Klauser an old German word that could be associated with the instrument; NB²: Compare Summer; NB³: Klauser also mentions the term "Sumber", but fails to add a definition, which renders it impossible to fathom its meaning and function.
