Translation unknown; NB¹: Orthography between 1948 and 1992 (After 1992 the spelling would be Sâpcă [or Sâncă], neither of which I was unable to detect in dictionaries); NB²: Note the odd discrepancy between the spelling in Alexandru's text («sîpcă») and that in the index (➺ Sources).
Made of elder (Sambucus nigra).
