Doedelblaas (f)
(with) definite article: deBladder pipe with single chanter, no drone / reed type?
According to Boone mentioned in Valentin Denis, »De muziekinstrumenten in de Nederlanden en in Italië, naar hun afbeelding in de 15e -eeuwsche kunst« [The musical instruments in the Netherlands and Italy after their depiction in 15th century art] (Leuven [Louvain (B)], 1944), in which I was unable to discover this term (yet [Feb. 2024]); NB: Boone's remark that "the term is customary since a few years" remains obscure, because he fails to inform us whether he quotes Denis' text or refers to his own observations.
