Apparently an obsolete Czech term for gajde, mentioned in Kuhač, who rather enigmatically suggests a connection with his statement that "neither the Turks, nor the Arabs and Persians have [or had, in the late 19th century (?); ws] musical notation"; NB: ➺ Kaydoš.
