A rather unusual example of a term that seems to be related to bagpipes, but proved to pertain to a completely different discipline; It is the accusative form of the noun "gaidȳs", which translates as "rooster" or "cock" [male chicken]. It occurs in the text of one of the Lithuanian nursery rhymes in the booklet "Tilidūda" lietuviškos dainelės vaikams; NB: ➺ Gaida*.
