According to Elsner/Jabès, the "lower part of the chanter, below [?] the lowest finger hole"; NB¹: The use of the preposition "nach" in the original German definition is, in my opinion, linguistically rather inadequate and, consequently, confusing! (NB²: ➺ also Qasaba / Qaṣaba).
