Based on original bagpipes from Scotland, France, Germany, Sweden and Spain; Types: Redpipe classic (the smallest), Redpipe caledonia (a McCallum bagpipe with built-in redpipe electronics in 4 different versions), French bagpipes (with central French fingering with a second thumbhole), Medieval bagpipes (mouth-blown, appearance inspired by the Middle Ages or Market sacks [➺ Marktsackpfeife]), Spanish gaitas (Redpipe epona, based on the Gaita galega), and fantasy pipes (mouth-blown, mainly used by heavy metal, death metal or gothic metal bands).
