Electronic bagpipe, developed by José Ángel Hevia with engineer colleagues Alberto Arias and Miguel Dopico; At the time of writing (i.e. 2024), the second model is no longer available, but Hevia is developing a third model; According to Paul Miller (NB: ➺ Electronic pipes, Sources) "[The Mark II are] the most flexible: the player can create new fingerings or modify the ones supplied and tune notes individually"; The second version [i.e. Mark II; ws] includes a mouth blown bag, the pressure from the bag then sounds the chanter, which also responds to pressure, in the manner of conventional pipes, including the switching to the second octave with increased pressure.
