An electronic pipe, made in Kilmarnock in the mid-1970s; In its advertisements the company claimed it to be "the world's first electronic bagpipes", but as can be seen from the dates,
it was preceded by Cowan's Bazpipe (and others); NB¹: According to one of the participants in the Bob Dunshire forum, "the sound wasn't great, and [sic: meaning "but" ?; ws] while it was bulky, it was really a superb instrument, better than some made today [i.e. 2004; ws], adding that "The company didn't last long, but the instruments did; NB³: ➺ Electronic pipes (Sources).
