| Info: | One of Victoria’s largest Highland Gatherings. The Gatherings of first series (1857-1930s) were organised and promoted by the local "Commun Na Feinne" Society. Dec. 2019 the website mentions Pipe Band competitions as one of the annual attractions (providing a survey of the 2012-2018 editions, in which a total of 18 bands [one of them from NSW] participated) and also refers to a Juvenile Band contest. Video recordings prove that 1 or more Solo pipers accompany Highland and Scottish Country Dancing competitions. |
