| Info: | Originally created with the main purpose of honouring the practitioners of this musical style, who at that time were scarce, the project started as a regional meeting, which gradually grew into a national event, in which already numerous groups from the entire country and (at a later stage) a variety of Galician and Asturian musicians and groups have participated; NB¹: In connection with the Covid 19 pandemic the 2020 edition had to be cancelled; NB²: Because Pena appears to be a rather common name, shared with several other localities in the country, prospective visitors are advised to note the postal code of this village, which is 3060-521 (© Google maps [NB³: zoom out required]). |
