Ispinellu (m)

(with) definite article: ? [su?]
➺ remark(s) below
Identical types: 29

According to Weis Bentzon from "ispina" [thorn], according to Dore meaning "stickleback"; Made in 3 keys (F, G, and A major); Tuned as the Mediana, but with its Mankosa manna in the same octave as the Mankosedda; NB¹: ➺ All Ispinellu & Spinello (Spinellu) types; NB²: ➺ Morisku.

Mankosedda (in G): Arrefinu: d¹; Krais: f♯¹-g¹-a¹-b¹; Mankosa manna: Arrefinu: g¹; Krais: a¹-b¹-c²-d²; Tumbu: G (These tunings agree with those of an instrument in C, as presented in »Launeddas«); NB³: Note the different tuning of the Mankosa manna (Arrefinu: G; Krais: A-B-c-d [i.e. 2 octaves lower]) in the "Partitura del temperamento" in Dore, who in his explanation erroneously notes an F natural, instead of the F♯ in the staff.
NB: Example(s) to be replaced with staff-notation.

Spinello, Spinellu
