1656-1754Son of Roderick ("Rory") Dall ("Blind Roderick"), he "outstripped his father’s accomplishments" and became a pupil of Patrick Og MacCrimmon (whom he, it is said, has equalled); He was also a teacher, and is recorded to have written as many as 30 Pìobaireachd, as well; His tunes "The unjust incarceration" and "Lament for Patrick Og MacCrimmon" show his skill as a composer; NB: ➺ Angus Mackay of Raasay.
