Crotone), he lived and worked in Mesoraca; By family origin and by culture he belonged to the artisan class that had, and still has, a certain social relevance in Mesoraca, covering an important role in the life of the community; His socio-cultural status transpires from a whole series of traits that distinguish him from other bagpipe makers of agro-pastoral extraction; First of all he did musical studies with a teacher, but he learned to play the trombone, as well, which he played in the local band until its dissolution; He made 2 types of Zampogna a chiave and Surdulina; *NB: ➺ Uncle (courteous title).
