bagpipe maker, also a piper (or vv.) (&c.), mentioned by name

Born in Scapoli. At the age of 12 he started to play on a used Zampogna, which he had bought from Benedetto Di Fiore (whose daughter Antonia Anna he had married in 1947); At the end of the 1960s he started to make bagpipes, a craft he learned from his father-in-law. Never having given up playing, he earned a good name as a craftsman; His son Paolo continues his tradition.
