Son of Velko; One of the last manufacturers in Skopje; One of the (only) 3 Macedonian manufacturers mentioned in Širola (➺ Velko Janev, and Jovan Trajkoviḱ (Trajković) [Trajkoski?] ("Traka"); In 1966 still active (ws); According to Džimrevski, his workshop in the Stara Čaršija quarter was kept open, as an object, after his death. NB¹: ➺ the brief description of my visit to him in About WS (§ 2); NB²: Brömse uses the Serbian form of his name (Janjević [i.e. Јањевић; ws]); NB³: Vukosavljević mentions a "skilful constructor", whom he calls "чика Панчо" (čika [uncle] Pančo [sic]; NB4: ➺ Uncle), probably with the intention to refer to him; NB5: ➺ my remark to Velko Janev on the confusion regarding their relationship.
