Born and lived in Żabnica; In the first half of the 20th century, when he was "sołtys" [mayor?] of Żabnica, he bought a Gajdy from gajdziorz "Biegun of Płone", and played on it occasionally; In the 1960s his son Wojciech, who had inherited it, but didn’t play, donated the then worn out instrument to the regional team "Góral" of Żabnica, and its director, Władysław Konior (who seems to have played the Gajdy as well, but is nowhere referred to as a gajdosz), had it repaired by Jan Kawulok "uod Wojtosza".
