According to Blench "used among the ethnic Lao in Stung Treng province (Cambodia) and in lakhon ken, a Cambodian dance drama genre that features the khene as the main instrument. Mouth-organs are probably not traditional in Cambodia and none are represented on its most famous iconographic record of musical instruments, the friezes at Angkor Wat"; NB: ➺ Laos.
